We are excited to work with you on your event!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED…

  • Computer & LED screen or projector (with proper HDMI & power cables)

  • Volunteer to run slides
(someone who is relatively good with technology, knows Aly’s music / many contemporary worship songs, & is able to familiarize themselves with the program below prior to the event)

Let’s Get Started…

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD “PRESENTER”

Presenter is a FREE & Easy-to-Use Lyric Program.

No more wasting time & energy typing lyrics into PowerPoint (Aly typically follows the Spirit anyway, so a planned set list is bound to change. This program allows you to quickly find the lyrics she is singing without having to flip through the entire PowerPoint slideshow, which can be quite distracting to prayer).

Please Follow the directions below for smooth sailing when it comes to Lyric Slides:

  1. Download PRESENTER

  2. Create An Account

  3. Connect Your CCLI Song Select (log in to existing account to sync program)

  4. Join Aly Aleigha’s Team — we will send you an email invite.

    • (Note: The invite may take you to the affiliate “Planner” page. Accept the invite but then ex out of the program and re-launch your “Presenter” app - found on your computer, not the website. You should be able to access all of Aly’s pre-prepared slides now)

STEP 2: FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE PROGRAM (at least 2 weeks before the event)

Log in, select “Cue Lists” at the top. It will reveal a drop-tab. Under “TYPE,” you will find a folder for your event. Click the folder that applies to your event (example: “Conference”) and it will reveal set lists in the right column (example: “Adoration 1” set list).

There may be multiple set lists in the folder - make sure to click “View All” in case some or all set lists are hidden. Once a set list is selected, the songs within the set list will appear on the left-hand column under the green “Presenter” bar. Click on any song title and the slides should appear on the right of the list.

Throughout your event, you may need to access songs in a different set list within your event folder. Repeat this process to select another set list (example: “Cue lists >> View All >> Energetic P&W”).

Here’s a video visual:

Once a set list is selected, you may only see the title of the song. Lyric prompts may be helpful. To see both the song title and the first words of the song in the list, hover your mouse over the line that divides the list of songs from the slides. A small arrow pointing to the right should appear as your mouse; click and drag to the right to expand the list, and you will be able to see lyric prompts for each song. Aly may begin the song at the bridge or chorus rather than the first verse.

These vocal prompts in the title are meant to assist you in finding the lyric slides quickly, though it is helpful to familiarize yourself with the songs prior to the event.

EXAMPLE: For the "Here's My Heart Mashup," Aly could begin anywhere in the song and it doesn't follow a specific order - this one will keep you on your toes! But it is very repetitive, so you will be able to follow where Aly leads.

Between songs or if you're ever not sure where you are, hit the blank screen (the first slide of each song) until Aly sings a recognizable lyric/prompt. Once you are familiar with songs & the lyric program, it's helpful to try and click the slide at the same time Aly sings, so the words are not up before or after she sings (keeping timing as cohesive as possible). This is optimal but don't worry if it doesn't completely work out that way.

(to practice in the weeks leading up to the event, it is helpful to listen the worship tunes on Spotify etc. and practice running the lyric program along with the recordings. Aly may not follow the song exactly as recorded, but this will give you an idea of how to quickly find the correct slides.)

STEP 3: SET UP PROJECTION - GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME (PLEASE SET IT UP 3 hrs BEFORE ALY ARRIVES)

Finally, we recommend whoever is running the slides becomes familiar with the program & the music in the weeks leading up to the event, and to set it up for projection at least 3 hours prior to the event start time to mitigate any technical difficulties the day of the event (specifically the 2-screen display). THIS IS THE STEP THAT MAY REQUIRE THE MOST TROUBLESHOOTING, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time to set it up.

  1. Watch How-To-Use Video (once program is open, Click “Presenter Overview” on left column, then press “play” in main screen)

  2. SET UP YOUR MAC OR WINDOWS PC + PROJECTOR

    • Follow the instructions on the buttons below if you have any difficulties setting up the display screen controls for projection.

    • Please make sure you have the appropriate adapters, etc. for the computer and projector to sync together (if there is any question about this, ask whoever owns the projector what kind of cables you will need - specific to the Mac or PC being used. It is helpful to have a person you can call on who is comfortable with projection setup).

HOW TO SET UP THE DISPLAY SCREENS FOR PROJECTION ON YOUR COMPUTER:

It may also be helpful for the person running the slides to be present and practice running the lyric program while Aly sound checks. If there are any questions that cannot be answered prior to the event, Aly will be available to help, though she will need to prioritize her other duties (setting up sound equipment & the merch table, sound checking, etc).

We hope all this information helps, and we are looking forward to this event with you!
