FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far ahead should I book my event? / Marketing Tips
Timeline of booking depends on the kind of event you are planning, as well as the availability of Aly Aleigha & any band members needed.
Aly Aleigha typically is booked out 6-12 months in advance but we always welcome inquiries for events with an earlier date. Once your inquiry is made, we will check Aly’s and any desired band members’ availability.
If you are relying on advertising your event for attendance, it is recommended to have all main logistic details finalized at least 4 months out from your event (especially if planning a larger event such as a concert or full-band worship event). This allows for time to advertise well for your event to achieve maximum attendance. (Some Advertising Materials will be provided, feel free to create your own as well, using the approved photos / videos in our Media Kit).

If your event is built into a school or youth group calendar, for example, and community members are already planning to attend on the date you have selected, we can plan our part in as little as a couple of weeks for a solo event, and preferably at least a month prior for any band members (again, depends on everyone’s availability). Although, allowing more time for advertising your event is never a bad idea!
Cost-Saving Ideas
If cost is an issue, here are some options to consider:
Invite other churches, schools, etc. to partner with you in putting on your event. This allows you to share the expenses as well as brings in a larger group of people to your event.
SPONSORSHIPS. Contact your local Knights of Colombus, apply for Diocesan Grants, or community members &/or businesses who desire to financially support events like yours. There are sometimes community funds for the arts.
I’d rather talk over the phone — Can I call / text / Facebook message to book Aly or discuss a booking?
Thank you for your interest in booking Aly Aleigha! In order to best serve you so we have record of all planning details, it is best to keep correspondence over email.
Occasionally a phone call is helpful and we will let you know via email if we would like to connect with you by phone to finalize any details. We may need a followup email containing what we discussed over the phone in order to make sure details don’t get forgotten as we prepare for your event.
Same goes for any non-email correspondence (i.e., text or messages over social media). We are booking multiple events at once, so it is always best if we have emails & the event form to look back on as Aly and the band prepare for your event. Thank you!
What do I need to know for OUTDOOR events?
Aly Aleigha and her band love playing outdoor events! There are just a few extra logistics that would need to be addressed.
Staging with proper covering to protect the band / gear from the elements is necessary for all outdoor events.
Depending on the expected size of your event, a separate sound company is often hired. Aly Aleigha does have a sound system that may be sufficient; however, for large venues / events, a separate sound company would be able to provide equipment that better suits the space for an optimum sound quality and experience.
Can I book Aly as a Keynote Speaker / Presenter?
Aly Aleigha is no longer offering speaking presentations so that she can focus on music; however, she often incorporates some stories / spoken reflections within concerts & worship events. See the "WHAT TO EXPECT: WORSHIP EVENT WITH ALY ALEIGHA" heading for more info.
If you would like Aly to prioritize incorporating spoken ministry as part of her music-leading for your event, please make a note of this in your booking inquiry.
Does Aly sing for Weddings?
Congratulations on your engagement! Unfortunately, Aly does not sing for weddings at this time. Here is a list of talented musicians she recommends asking instead.
Where can I find sheet music for Aly’s music?
Aly offers sheet music in her web store for download for a couple of her songs. None of her other songs currently have lead sheets available at this time; however, if you send us an email noting your interest in playing specific songs we may be able to provide sheet music or at least chord sheets in the future.
Can we play Aly’s music & include her songs in our lyric booklets?
Absolutely! Aly loves it when people connect with her music and she feels honored when people desire to play her songs. We simply ask that you credit Aly appropriately by including the following on your lyric sheets / projection:
Song Name
Words & Music by Aly Aleigha

Also, Aly would LOVE a video or audio clip of you playing her song! Please tag &/or send it to her on instagram, facebook or email us at manager@aly-aleigha.com! She might even share it to her socials for others to see!
Lyric Sheets Vs. Projected Lyrics?
We always highly recommend using Projected Lyrics for multiple reasons:
It allows the participants to keep their gaze up instead of looking down at their lyric sheets. With their gaze already up, they can glance between lyrics and Jesus in the Eucharist at the same time, so it allows them to stay engaged in worship with minimal distraction.
Allows participants to remain in a prayerful state as songs transition rather than announcing what song is next + everyone flipping through handouts to find the song we are on. That takes their mind away from authentic worship with Christ and has them focusing on trying to find the right song. Instead, the correct part of each song just appears for them on the screen so they don't have to worry about it and can enter in more fully to prayer.
Projecting lyrics allows me the freedom to follow the Spirit in the moment: If a different song fits better with a talk or something than the one I had planned, we can adjust on the fly without relying strictly on the printed lyric sheets.
I actually have the ability to add new songs from my ipad while I'm singing, which then appears in the lyric program automatically as well, so I can even add songs that were not planned and they can appear in the correct order for the volunteer running the slides. It’s more eco-friendly and cost effective to save paper!
This FREE LYRIC PROGRAM will need to be downloaded onto a computer to be used during the event. A computer + projection is needed, along with a volunteer to run the slides (preferably someone who is familiar with Aly’s music and is relatively good with technology).
We will need the volunteer's email address to add to Aly's "team" so they can log into the program and access the lyric slides she has prepared. If the volunteer would like, Aly can also connect with them ahead of time to make sure they feel comfortable with the program. It is best if the volunteer can familiarize themselves with the program at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
